About This Service

The Right Oil Matters.
More in Dubai Than Anywhere.

An oil change is the most fundamental maintenance service any vehicle requires. But on a Lamborghini, a Rolls Royce, or a Ferrari — engines that cost more than most cars — the choice of oil, the grade, the manufacturer specification, and the quality of the filter are not details to leave to chance or to cost-cut on.

Dubai's climate makes this more critical than in any temperate country. Engine oil degrades faster in extreme heat. The thermal cycling that occurs every time a car is parked in 45°C heat and started cold accelerates oxidation and viscosity breakdown in the oil. An oil that meets specification in Germany for 15,000 km may genuinely need to be changed at 10,000 km in Dubai to maintain adequate engine protection.

At Kartal Auto, every oil change is carried out with the manufacturer-specified oil grade and viscosity for your specific engine — not whatever synthetic oil is cheapest in the storeroom. Every filter we use is OEM-specification. And every oil change includes a complimentary multi-point inspection so you leave knowing exactly what condition your vehicle is in.

What We Do

Oil Change Services
We Offer in Dubai

From a standard oil and filter change to a full engine flush and multi-point service — every oil change service available for luxury and exotic vehicles at our Dubai workshop.

1. Standard Oil & Filter Change

Full synthetic oil drained, oil filter replaced with an OEM-specification unit, and the correct manufacturer-grade oil refilled to the exact specified quantity. Drain plug inspected and torqued correctly.
Oil level confirmed on the dipstick or electronic gauge. Service interval reset on the vehicle's onboard computer.

2. Exotic Vehicle Oil Change

Specialist oil change for Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, and Porsche — which require specific manufacturer-approved synthetic oils at specific viscosity grades, often in larger quantities than standard vehicles. Many exotic engines also require oil changes with the engine at operating temperature to fully drain.

3. Engine Oil Flush

For vehicles with heavily degraded, contaminated, or sludged oil — a specialist engine flush product is run through the system before the drain to dislodge and remove built-up deposits. Particularly recommended when taking over a vehicle with an unknown service history, or when the oil has been significantly overdue for changing.

4. Oil + Multi-Point Inspection

Full oil and filter change with a comprehensive multi-point vehicle inspection carried out simultaneously — checking brake pad thickness, tyre pressure and condition, all fluid levels, lights, suspension, and visible belt and hose condition.
A complete health check with every oil change at no additional cost.

5. Performance Oil Upgrade

Upgrade to a premium performance-grade oil — Mobil 1 Extended Performance, Castrol EDGE, Liqui Moly or similar — for vehicles used in demanding conditions: track days, high-speed highway driving, or particularly hot operating environments. Performance oils maintain viscosity stability at higher temperatures than standard specification oil.

6. Oil Filter Only Replacement

Replacement of the oil filter between oil changes — recommended on high-mileage vehicles or those driven in particularly dusty conditions in Dubai where filtration efficiency degrades faster. A fresh filter between full oil changes maintains oil cleanliness without the full cost of a complete oil service.

7. Transmission & Differential Oil

Transmission fluid and differential oil changes for vehicles approaching the manufacturer's recommended service interval — or where the fluid has discoloured or shows signs of contamination. Often overlooked until a problem develops. We check these fluids at every multi-point inspection and advise when they are due for replacement.

8. SUV & Large Engine Oil Service

Specialist oil change service for large-capacity SUV engines — Range Rover V8 supercharged, Mercedes G63 AMG, BMW X7 M60i, and similar vehicles requiring larger oil quantities (up to 9 litres or more) at specific AMG or M Performance-approved grades. Capacity and grade verified for every vehicle before any oil is ordered.

Oil Grades

Engine Oil Grades
We Use in Dubai

Different engines require different oil grades. Using the wrong grade — even a grade close to the correct specification — can cause premature engine wear, increased fuel consumption, and in some cases void the manufacturer's warranty. Here is every grade we stock and the vehicles it is correct for.

Oil Grade

What It Is

Key Properties

Used In

0W-40

Full synthetic low-viscosity oil. The 0W cold-start rating ensures rapid lubrication at startup — critical in Dubai where engines start from ambient temperatures that can exceed 45°C. The 40-weight provides adequate film strength at high operating temperatures. One of the most widely used exotic car oil grades.

Excellent cold-start protection · Strong high-temp film · Wide temperature range · Full synthetic base

Lamborghini (LB 04 approved), Ferrari, Porsche, Audi, VW Group high-performance engines

5W-40

Full synthetic oil with a slightly higher cold-start viscosity than 0W-40, but the same high-temperature 40-weight film strength. Appropriate for a very wide range of European luxury vehicles and sports cars. Often specified under manufacturer approval codes such as MB 229.51, BMW Longlife-04, and Porsche A40.

Strong high-temp film strength · Wide approval coverage · Suitable for turbo engines · Full synthetic

BMW, Mercedes AMG, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley W12, Range Rover Sport

5W-30

Full synthetic oil with slightly lower high-temperature viscosity than 5W-40. Recommended for modern low-emissions engines that use tighter tolerances and require lower viscosity to maintain efficiency and meet fuel economy standards. Approved under standards including BMW Longlife-01, MB 229.51, and GM Dexos2.

Fuel efficiency optimised · Modern engine compatibility · Low SAPS option available · Extended interval capable

BMW M series, Mercedes S-Class (non-AMG), Range Rover TDV8, Bentley Flying Spur, Jetour

0W-30

Ultra-low viscosity full synthetic oil for modern engines with variable valve timing and stop-start systems. Specifically required by Mercedes-Benz under MB 229.71 for newer AMG models and Rolls Royce under their own approved specification. The lowest viscosity grade we stock — and one that should never be substituted with a thicker grade.

Ultra-low cold start viscosity · Stop-start compatible · VVT system protection · MB 229.71 / RR approved

Rolls Royce (all models), Mercedes-Benz AMG (2018+), Aston Martin DB11, Bentley (2020+)

10W-60

A high-viscosity full synthetic race-derived oil specified for high-revving, high-output naturally aspirated engines. The 60-weight provides an exceptionally thick oil film at very high temperatures — essential for engines that regularly see over 8,000 rpm. Required by BMW M3/M5/M6 (E46/E60/E63 generation) and all Ferrari naturally aspirated V8 and V12 engines.

Maximum high-temp film strength · High-rev engine protection · Race-derived formulation · Exceptional shear stability

BMW M3/M4/M5 (S54/S85/S65 engines), Ferrari F430, Ferrari 458 Italia, Ferrari California

HOW IT WORKS

Our AC Diagnosis &
Repair Process

A proper oil change on a luxury vehicle takes longer than 10 minutes in a fast-fit bay. Here is every step — from booking to driving away.

Why Choose Us?

Why Dubai's Car Owners Choose Us for Their Oil Change?

A Lamborghini Urus does not use the same oil as a Toyota Camry. Using the wrong grade — or a generic substitute — on a high-performance engine is a decision that shows up in engine wear readings years later.

Manufacturer-Approved Oil

We verify the exact oil specification from your VIN before ordering anything.

OEM-Specification Filter

On a high-revving Lamborghini or Ferrari engine, filter quality matters. We never fit substandard filters.

Same-Day Service

Most oil changes at Kartal Auto are completed within 45 to 60 minutes including the full inspection.

Full Documentation

Every oil change is documented on a job card with oil grade, filter part number, mileage, date, and findings.

FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about car oil changes in Dubai. Have a question about your specific vehicle? Message us — we will confirm the correct oil and price within minutes.

1. How much does car oil change cost in Dubai?
Standard luxury vehicles (Mercedes, BMW, Land Rover) start from AED 350. High-performance variants (AMG, M Power, Porsche) start from AED 500. Exotic vehicles start from AED 600 — Lamborghini Urus from AED 650, Ferrari from AED 700, Rolls Royce from AED 800. All prices include the correct oil, OEM filter, multi-point inspection, and service interval reset. Contact us with your specific vehicle for an exact price.

2. How often should I change oil of my car?
For most luxury vehicles using full synthetic oil, every 10,000 km is the practical interval in Dubai — shorter than the 15,000 km interval that some manufacturers specify for temperate climates. Vehicles driven heavily in Dubai stop-start city traffic in summer, or vehicles used for track driving, should be changed every 8,000 km. We advise on the correct interval for your specific vehicle and usage pattern when you visit.

3. How long does car oil change take?
Most oil changes at Kartal Auto are completed within 45 to 60 minutes, including the complimentary multi-point inspection carried out while the oil drains. Exotic vehicles with remote filter locations or complex undertray access may take slightly longer. We confirm the estimated time when you book.

4. Do you use genuine OME Oil filters?
Yes. Every oil filter we fit is OEM-specification — sourced from authorised distributors for the relevant brand. On high-performance engines, the oil filter's bypass pressure, flow rate, and filtration rating are engineered to the engine's specific requirements. An aftermarket filter that does not meet these specifications can allow insufficiently filtered oil to reach the bearings. We do not compromise on filter quality on any vehicle we service.
5. What oil does my Lamborghini or Ferrari needs?
Lamborghini engines require 0W-40 oil meeting the LB 04 specification — a specific approval that not all 0W-40 oils meet. Ferrari naturally aspirated engines (F430, 458, 488) require 10W-60 full synthetic. Ferrari turbocharged engines typically require 5W-40. Rolls Royce requires 0W-30 meeting the RR specification. Using the wrong grade or a non-approved substitute can cause premature engine wear and in some cases void the manufacturer's warranty. We verify the exact specification before ordering any oil.
